Pop’s parents made a decision when their baby was born to keep Pop’s sex a secret. Aside from a select few – those who have changed the child’s diaper – nobody knows Pop’s gender; if anyone inquires, Pop’s parents simply say they don’t disclose this information.
The parents were quoted saying their decision was rooted in the feminist philosophy that gender is a social construction and that they want it to grow up more freely and avoid being forced into a specific gender mould from the outset.
"I believe that the self-confidence and personality that Pop has shaped will remain for a lifetime," said Pop's mother.

Now Tom Elton is back behind bars, charged in the murder of his wife Brenda Blondell.
Elton was arrested after Blondell’s body was found by police on Monday after having been stabbed to death in the apartment they shared.
Elton’s history with police dates back to his teenage years when he began using heroin, according to parole documents obtained by The Vancouver Sun.
He was in Matsqui prison for break and enter when he and others stabbed to death Arthur Gerald Wadlow, 26, a fellow prisoner, in 1975. He was convicted of second-degree murder.
After getting parole in 1988, he was convicted of impaired driving and “and you assaulted a police officer,” the documents state.
He got day parole again in 1994 after getting treatment for anti-social behaviour.
But in November 1998, he was arrested again, “found by police in a house grappling with a man with a cut throat who accused you of slashing him.”
Elton was acquitted in that case because others in the house “were uncooperative.”
He got full parole again in 2000. “You have demonstrated a high degree of self-knowledge and insight and appear to be dealing with stressors appropriately,” the board said then.
Blondell was also a lifer, having been convicted of the gruesome 1987 murder in Vancouver of Mya Kulchyski, a 21-year-old struggling with drug addiction. Blondell and another accused, Andrea James, beat and strangled Kulchyski with a dog leash, then sexually abused her to make it look like she was attacked by a man, B.C. Supreme Court was told.
Blondell and James drove Kulchyski to a parking lot near Burnaby Lake and threw her in a creek, where she drowned. Their car got stuck in a nearby ditch as they fled and good Samaritans could not pull it out. The car was key evidence at trial.
Justice George Murray said Blondell showed no remorse for the killing and was “beyond rehabilitation,” sentencing her to life with no chance of parole until the year 2001.
She went on to become an activist in Kingston penitentiary for women, just as Elton had become an activist inside jail.
In recent years, the couple had regularly spoken at prisoners’ rights event such as the annual Prisoners’ Justice Day in August.
So one life criminal murdered another life criminal. Sounds like a positive event to me. What the fuck is this prisoner's rights shit. I personally vote that we use prisoners for product safety and medical testing. Let's make those fuckers of some use. A campaign to publicize the identities of thousands of people receiving hefty government pensions -- from onetime professors to former fire chiefs -- is catching on around the country.
The effort was launched earlier this year by a California interest group determined to promote its view that steep pension payments are bankrupting states and localities. Newspapers in New York, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Illinois and elsewhere have published lists of their six-figure public retirees.
Those named are former public employees and their dependents who receive an annual pension of more than $100,000. Atop one list is a former city administrator from the small Southern California town of Vernon, whose annual pension is $499,674.84.
So the basic point is that regular people are pissed that taxpayers are forking out assloads of money for the lavish pensions of retired public employees. I'm pretty sure that I can safely say that nobody deserves a $300,000.00 annual pension. I feel comfortable with that statement. The funny thing is that a bunch of these huge pensions mentioned were in California. California, California, California, where have I heard about them recently? OHHHHH yeah I remember now, they're flat fucking broke, about to fall on their ass and their going to need the rest of us to prop them up, I remember now!
Most of the pensioners were angry their shit is being exposed. Most of those were have lost their shit and aren't going to be able to retire until they're 115 years old are angry that the pension millionaires are getting rich off their tax money. I say expose the fuckers, you don't need that goddamn much money because I know you were not and are not that fucking important and I would rather save for my own retirement than support yours so fuck the fuck off you overpaid, fossilized douchebags!

An autistic child from Ohio is not entitled to private education at taxpayer expense.
The supreme court on Monday rejected an appeal from Jeff and Sandee Winkelman, who are seeking reimbursement from the Parma, Ohio school district in suburban Cleveland. Their son, Jacob, is autistic. The Winkelmans won a Supreme Court decision in 2007 that allowed them to pursue their case without hiring a lawyer.
The case is Winkelman v. Parma City School District, 08-1089.
May the Winkelmans die of Leukemia of the Aids of the Herpes of the eyeballs! Fuck your child! No, seriously, fuck your fucking child. Pay for your kid to have a private education because he's a retard? Seriously? Are you totally fucking serious? I didn't drink while I was pregnant.
